John Cheney and his wife Lyn are one of the newest additions
to the Northeast Florida Marine Industry. They purchased Sebastian
Harbor Boat Sales in December of 2003 and opened for
business January 1, 2004. John and Lyn are no strangers to the
marine industry. John was a Captain of 150 to 200 ft. mega yachts
for 27 years. These vessels were used for charter around the
globe and required that the Captain have strong management
skills. He had a 12-16 person crew, managed a $2 million budget,
and was responsible for the overall management of all facets of
operation from food service to engineering. His experience with
the management of mega yacht rebuilds and new builds is invaluable
in regard to the sales and service offered at Riverbend
Marine. Riverbend sells Century, Cobia, Palm Beach, Carolina
Skiff, and Angler boats and Honda, Mercury, and Yamaha engines.
Jon and Lyn know boats, service, and business. They are
active owners and are happy to be part of the community. Visit
